Privacy policy

Otaku Solutions runs otakusolutions.io, our member portal and our checkout. This policy covers all three.

• Contact details you give us (name, email, company) when you join a waitlist, book a call, sign up for a free course or contact us.
• Purchase details when you buy, such as what you bought and your billing name and address. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• Your account and course activity in the member portal, such as lessons completed and the posts and comments you make.
• Email activity: whether our emails are delivered, opened or clicked, so we can send less of what you don’t want.
• Basic site usage (pages visited, device type, rough location from your IP address) through privacy-friendly analytics that doesn’t use cookies.

• To run the programs, cohort, membership and services you signed up for.
• To reply to you and to book calls.
• To send the emails you asked for: waitlist updates, course emails, and our newsletter if you opted in.
• To see which pages help people and improve them.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for third-party advertising.

Only the service providers that help us run the business, and only what each one needs:

• Stripe, for payments.
• Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES), for sending email.
• Our hosting providers, for the servers that run the website, portal and CRM.

We may also share information when the law requires it.

The site only uses cookies it needs to work, such as keeping you signed in to the member portal and remembering your checkout cart. Our analytics doesn’t use cookies. If we ever add cookies for anything else, we’ll ask you first.

We keep your information while you’re a customer, a member or on one of our lists. After that, we keep only what we need for legal, tax or accounting reasons. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

You can ask us to:

• show you the information we hold about you;
• correct it;
• delete it;
• stop or limit how we use it.

Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Email us and we’ll reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), local law may give you further rights.

Our services are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll also tell customers by email.
